DX7 firmware update

Recently updated my DX7 Gen 2. Found many new items in function menu and system menu. I would like to understand these better. These are not in the manual that came with the radio. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks.

Hello,
Is VTX only for Quads? What is center tone? Is that for the sticks? Will lap timer work on something other than Quads? When I go to range test all I get is full power. Just trying to understand what I have. May not use this stuff.

VTX relates to a video transmitter, center tone sounds when your trim switches are centered, lap time can be used for circuits around a pattern if you want and you have to hold down the bind button to switch to low power during range test.
