This is the one I use. I love it. Works fine for painting foam planes. I prefer the pistol grip over the button on top.

What brand of compressor do you run behind your airbrush I found the BSP 1/8" fitting hose it takes now just a compressor thanks Goose!

This is what I have and it works fine although I would recommend the one with the tank.

Master Airbrush Model TC-40 - Cool Runner Professional High Performance Single-Piston Airbrush Air Compressor with 2 Holders, Regulator, Gauge, Water Trap Filter & Air Hose

        Got it off of Amazon

Agreed, I have one with tank and I love that it don't run all the while I'm using it, not that it is loud also. R.

I prefer the one with the tank, but the one without does fine, too. Would there be interest if Motion RC carried these?

Nice idea of one-stop shopping but not if the pricing isn't competitive.
TCP Global is the U.S distribution specialist when it comes to airbrushing equipment.
Having been a procurement manager, I can't imagine MRC being able to move enough product in order to be competitive on pricing.
I will always support a business such as Motion even if the pricing is not the best just because of the veteran foundation but the price still has to be competitive.
IMHO Alpha, just stay focused on your core strengths which is what has made Motion whom they are.;)

One of the most frustrating things when starting out is the low cost equipment out there. As someone who paints for a a side business I can say I would use Badger patriots or a iwata eclipse before any cheapo. Time spent cleaning and fixing the brush sucks. Cleaning is normal but when the machine work is garbage and you end up tearing down the brush all the time mid job because there is some nano bur in the line of fire etc.

So....anything other than Badger or Iwata Eclipse are all "cheapo" and no good? I bought the Master Airbrush from it being recommended as a good starter and easy to use and learn from.

I guess I'll find out soon enough if its hard to use and clean. Certainly didn't want to give an arm and a leg for one of them. :Silly:
