New look?

Is it just me, and I'm getting old, but did this site just change its look a bit. New cloud background, different fonts, etc., or am I going nuts? If you did make some changes, it looks great, if you didn't I apologize for being so blind.

LOL - Yes, we are in the process of dressing it up a bit. Hope you guys like it. We still have a little more work to do. Should be complete by tomorrow (Friday).

Thanks for noticing and not hating the new look!   :D

Yes we are offering a new fresh look to the site (it would have been done originally but we are just now finding the extra time).  The look and feel is pretty much complete...We will be offering individual header images for each main forum category (right now the F4U Corsair is showing on all header images...That will change soon, only showing on the RC Airplanes forum category section).

We hope everyone enjoys this "Freshening up" of the site.  We wanted to keep it clean and welcoming while offering a hint of imagery to add overall visual appeal.

If you have any concerns, questions or comments, please do not hesitate to let us know!

I'll avoid the football references simply because this is not the forum for sports opinions.
This is an RC aeronautics forum. Besides, eveyone knows that any football themed paint job should represent the Philadelhhia Eagles!!! :D

I really like the new look and feel of the forum site.
It is very inviting and more than sufficiently represents the essence of Aeronautics.

This is much better than the original, clinical Mario Bros. graphic based site.
Kudo's to the programmers and project engineers!!

Additionally, the new background fully supports my typical post salutation,

Glad you guys like!  We didn't want to overkill with design elements...Just enough to improve the default template and give it its own look that we can call home.  I totally agree this is not a football forum and that's why I won't say that the Seattle Super Seahawks are going to beat the Patriots!

Love the cloudy blue sky!!! I have the Steelers emblem on the top of the engine cowel on my yellow Pitts Special. I couldn't care less about football, it just looks cool!! The Doctor :shy:

A Seahawk is close enough to an Eagle for me.... So that's the way on going.
Actually, my son lives in Washington state so I'm obglated to go with Seattle. Personally, I couldn't care either way.
Gotta go now........ I think i'll make myself a bowl of 'Cheaties"......... Oops! Did I say that out loud????? :angel:
