New to Forum

Hi everyone..I am new to this forum and really look forward to many post and a lot of reading. I have been flying rc planes for some about 25 yrs. now ranging from micro electrics to 1/3 sc. 3d gassers. My heart is really in the 16 oz. 3d stuff and larger and am really interested in getting back into the air. I am somewhat new to the huge lipo jump from what I am used to,also the new and killer motors that have come out. I ran Hackers and AXI,s due to the fact thats all we had to some degree. So say hello to the newbie in this forum and I look forward to reading and learning all I can before posting something dumb :cool:

Thanks for the warm welcome Steve, I had grown a bit tired of the bickering at some of the other forums which will remain nameless :rolleyes: I like the epp 3D planes in the 32" to 48" w.s like the Super Zoom and owned 2 S.Z.'s and really enjoyed low 3D stuff. I had some videos on the web at RCGroups but lost the links to them. Me and my flying buddy really liked the 50" profile glow powered stuff like what the Profile Brotherhood were famous for. This was just before it was feasible and less costly to do an electric but now it is easy and affordable and less messy. I really like the Hacker line up of epp planes and am really looking at the big Ultimate http://www.rcplanebuilder.com/rc-plane-kits-plans/hacker-3d-aerobatic/ultimate-biplane-1000mm

I just need to make a choice about the motor and battery. Do you have any suggestions ???

Hey CWH, great to have you here!
Good bunch here and for the most part we're here to share information and enjoy eachother's company.  A lot of us have been here for years and are still coming back to learn and teach as well as to show off our new purchases and share with others.
