I just received a new FMS servoless retract...only bought one because I wanted to confirm it would work with my V6 FMS P51D. Looks like a little modding will be required to sit it down in the wheel well, but the major prob is the strut hole is 4.75 mm and the strut is 4.9mm. I obviously will need to drill out the hole for the strut to fit, but I'm not sure what's the best way to do it. If it was the old style retract...no big deal. I take those things apart in my sleep. This one is a whole different animal. I can't be the only one to make this swap. Thanks in advance!
