Tinting Plastic Windows: Film, Dye, or ?

I would like to darken the rear windows in my 600 size heli to slightly obscure the mechanics inside. What’s your opinion & technique? Window tint film, dye, or is there a purpose built compound for this? Thanks in advance for all replies!

I would just use the Window tint film myself. Probably much easier to fix a mistake or change if you ever needed to.

Thanks, James....film is where I ended up. I tried Krylon stained glass paint on some scrap plastic but didn’t like the result. The window tint film gave the result I wanted but man, that stuff is tedious to work with. Turned out ok so .
