Channel Moderation

OK, here's an interesting one. At the top right section of each "Channel", you have the Channel Page numbers, a Filter button, and usually a Moderation button. For most Channels, the Moderation button only gives you a drop down for "Mark This Channel Read". I like this feature because I like to see whenever there are new posts in threads in a Channel without having to actually open the Channel, but don't necessarily follow all threads in that Channel. Having the Mark This Channel Read is handy.

Now here's the interesting part. Some Channels are missing the Moderation button for me. Those are: "Propeller Airplanes", "The Lounge", "RC Events", and "Feedback".

And even more interesting, "The Hanger" Channel seems to give me full Moderator options in the drop down list. Pretty sure I should not have those.

Crxmanpat, FYI, I see the more extensive options on the "Hangar" channel but I also see the normal "Moderation" button on ALL of the other channels including the ones that you listed. So your missing Moderation buttons is not a universal issue.

I am missing the same mod buttons and also have full access to the hangar as well

I have that full mod window in the hangar and the helipad. I'm the last person who should have anything to do with helis, lol.

So it looks like everything got fixed, with the exception of several channels in the Hobby Squawk General Topics section.

Now they are all gone, from every Channel. What happened?

What are gone? We just upgraded to the latest software version....

All of the Channel Moderation tabs are gone. I can no longer click on anything called "Moderation" or "Mark all channels read", they are completely missing.

But oddly enough, I DO have full moderator capabilities on all threads I have started in this forum, and even on the P-38 won't load thread here, but not any others.

All kidding aside, we will continue to have support look into this. Absolutely a bug for sure. Thanks for keeping us updated.

OK, this gets weirder by the day. So now I have full Moderator capabilities in a few forums (Propeller Airplanes and Jets & EDFs for example), but the "Mark this Channel Read" option is still missing. But I have the ability to approve, delete and moderate posts.

Yikes. Well that's certainly a problem. I've submitted the data the support center needs so hopefully this will be resolved soon. Thanks again for reporting this to us.
