  • PARTS!

    Hey.

Many have been asking - for years now - that Motion find it in their hearts, to offer fan adapters SEPARATELY from having to buy motors we already have. This has fallen on utterly deaf ears, time and again. Apart from making your fan rotors proprietary, with the square hex hub adapters so vitally necessary, Motion evidently cannot believe that their parts sometimes get damaged and, thereby, become unuseable.
Unless, of course, one buys the entire motor and adapter, since there is no other way to get a replacement .

Now, this practice has been extended to include propeller-driven assemblies. Take, for example, the F7F 2-blade upgrade. Replacement prop adapters evidently can be had ONLY if one purchases TWO (2) new motors and propellers. All, just to get the d*mned prop adapters.

Please, Motion, advise why you compel us to spend extravagant sums, for equipment we don’t need, to obtain what we DO need? What is so difficult about offering these simple, common parts that are necessary for continued enjoyment of these assemblies? You do offer some adapters - why not ALL of the type? Seeing as how fan rotors are available, don’t you think it would be sensible and reasonable to provide the part needed to drive them? Are you unaware that prop strikes can bend adapters, too?

The inability to maintain otherwise perfectly good equipment is an aggravation and completely unwarranted act. Kindly offer us the means with which to keep our stuff working, and money flowing to you.

It’s unfortunate that replacement parts are not available separately, and that you have to purchase an entire motor and adapter just to get a replacement.

Motion is a reseller like many others. If FreeWing, and I'm assuming he's complaining about FW EDF's, doesn't sell the parts separately then Motion can't. If Castle or Paradise have them separately then Motion could ask for them too.

With world events I think we are lucky to be getting what we are getting.
