Latest forum SPAMMING! 10 PAGES so far of these Temu ads. I have to go beyond the 10th page just to see today's legitimate posts. Can something be done to stop this and DELETE ALL these threads?

This is getting ridiculous .............. 26 pages now and still coming. It's gotta be an AI bot from China. It's even flooding this forum.

That was the most ridiculous thing I've seen in my 10 plus years on H/S!
Hopefully Todd is looking into this, maybe a weakness from the latest update on the site??

Well, it accomplished ONE thing. Temu is OFF my list of places to buy stuff. Dumped my "cart" and bought it all from Amazon.ca.

Mark is on vacation until Thursday and it's bad timing but I am taking the rest of the day off as I woke up with some kind of bug. I've done the best I can up to this point. Elbee is working his tail off trying to keep up with the massive spam attack. It's incredible.

Please hang tight as we work through this. We apologize for the inconvenience. I've never seen anything like this before.

                Guys,

I have been deleting these Temu posts since Sunday morning and I have banned each "member" as these appear.

Aros and others are looking to see what can be done.

However, our Major Webmeister is indisposed until Thursday on this week, so we must 'carry on' for a few days.

I will check in to HS every few hours and Delete/Ban.

So, relax and enjoy the forums and I'll stay on top of it as is reasonable.

Report anything you think is relevant, but I am on it as I wrote.

                Best, Steve

I have banned the word "TEMU" and other associated key words added to the spam list so hopefully that will help. Time will tell. Off to bed I go. Hang in there!

You guys are doing a GREAT job. This is unprecedented. Temu is insidious. Their ads have flooded Google ads and cannot be deleted or opted out.

Well, it's sort of working. Using the "name" makes the post unapproved. I'm good with it.

Here's my unapproved post but with an edit:

The dirtbags have figured out a workaround for their name. They put a space between each of the letters ………… “T E M U”.

                          Todd,

I would also examine more closely your latest influx of new members from Ip's overseas namely Germany ! They will usually list no location. You have a member here like Jim Jones who can get his buddies to sign up here and do all kinds of distractive things like report post that oppose his technical blunders or send e-bombs. You should institute a "captcha" required sign in for members. Trust me when I tell you you have had alot of anonymous trolls sign on here in the last few months, especially! They have nothing but poor intention or they would participate openly here. if they are using proxy servers the moment they forget and sign in without it you can catch them. Or you can institute a review process where you have to leave you REAL name and REAL location to be considered to be on this board.

Seems silly but these few nuts will go this far for their pied piper.

I bet you a million dollars it has something to do with him and the new joins with "john smith" type profile names with zero locations given . He probably even has a few American copy cats working covertly for him

Not a single ounce of that would surprise me if it were the case. I've seen the power of His flute. It has enough influence to make them jump off a cliff with no water below and that's no cap!

I've noticed that you already banned one I was suspecting anyway. Joined in the last few days with no location and no post into the forum. The perfect example of shady.
