SPAMMERS. Lately, I've found more SPAM in old threads. They tend to be "hidden" links that only show up when the post is "quoted" or if you click on an area of the post that has no print - you see your cursor turn into the pointy finger. They lead you to a gaming site or gambling site or some unrelated business selling something. Telltale signs ................... These people generally target older threads that have had no posts for some time. They make is sound like they understand our hobby and post something that somewhat resembles a logical reply and like they are contributing something worthwhile but are usually generic in nature. Ocassionally, the english is poor, grammer is bad and syntax incorrect. They are new registrants and it's their first and usually only post - mostly because they are flagged and the user banned right away. Let's just hope it's not another "TxMx" episode about to happen. Better to nip these flakes in the bud.
