  • Electric Motor Issue

After a flight today, I happened to give my prop a spin with a finger. It barely turned, didn't spin around freely. My flight was a very casual flight and the sun was setting fast. Landed with over 4 minutes left on my timer. Checked the battery and it was down to 28%!!! In the past, I would have had around 70%. Is my thinking right that I have a motor that is about to take a crap on me??? Bearing going out? Motor didn't feel hot. After 10-15 minutes, it would spine freely again. What ya think??

Since my original posting. Thinking I grabbed the wrong battery, that didn't have a full charge. And with the info on ESC drag. Bingo!! It all makes sense now.
