  • Let's See Your In flight shots

I and some of the guys in my club enjoy taking photos of our planes in flight. Last week a friend got this image of my HK Skipper XL on a full throttle pass down the runway. It is now my FB cover shot. He was panning, moving the camera with the plane, but using a high shutter speed which gave him the front half of the plane in focus and back half blurred a bit.Click image for larger version

This is probably not what you guys meant by "in flight" pictures but I think it's still capturing a great moment in RC flight. It was just a split second after my plane almost got destroyed.

Yes, it started life as an FMS B-25.

Good eyeball and call on that PBJ-1 Prowler. Having been a Navy airedale, that just gives me a good reason to redo the livery on my LX version.

Here are a few shots of my Hobbyzone Corsair. Love this little plane!

The last picture is what happens when you try a full stall landing instead of a wheel landing, this plane will drop the left wing every time.

                          OV10, if I ever get a B-25 it is getting converted. ;)

Nice shots of the Corsair, dkalwishky! Gotta keep that power on during landings ;)

Good old tip stalling, it happens with a tapered wing, a touch of power and you're good again.

Some of the Birds from last year in Cowley.
Shangrila, The Pitts and Old Crow.
Sadly, the field is no longer in use due to four wheeler idiots who continue to go out and chew it up, they guys were saying up to 24" deep grooves and they got sick of constantly repairing it.

                              Too bad, a great field.....

You just have to see this! A B29 X-1 combo, but just watch this guy fly the B 29, remember its a twenty foot wingspan.
BTW, love the announcer. One of the few videos that gave me a fright!

That's about his 4th B-29 (each slightly larger)
The extreme aerobatics eventually snap the wings.

I took my Starmax (HK) 1400 Cub, wrapped as a Navy NE-1 to the field today. Some days I just want to loaf around in the air and this plane is great for that. One of our club members got a few shots of my Cub, and of me and another member flying his FMS 1400 Cub together.
