    RC website scam. Buyer beware!

    FYI folks!
There is a new (78 days so far) RC website at www.magicrcrotob.com that claims to carry many of the major brands of RC products including FMS, at a 45% discount to the normal pricing.

If you do a google of "Scamadvisor" you will find they have checked it out and concluded there is a high degree of probability it is a rip off scam. In addition by googling " has anyone done business with the website www.magicrcrotob.com", you will find an RC forum where at least 2 people so far have lost money to these people. They don't accept credit cards or use Paypal, just wire transfer so you have no recourse if they don't deliver the goods.

Remember the old adage " If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is"

    Regards! Bluebird

Wire transfer as the only form of payment should be a really big red flag.

To this day I am still amazed by the lack of common sense used by people in every day life activities.
There is a common timeless phrase that I have rephrased(that's just who and how I am) many a time.
" A dumbass and his money are soon departed"

That's like the Asian (Read East Indian) scam artists that phone here saying that they are from Microsoft and they've detected a virus on our PC, could you please give us access to you PC so we can remove it??!!!
Do people really fall for that!!! Microsoft will NEVER phone you. Diane loves them and its the only time I've heard her swear at someone and name them in derogatory terms, lots of colorful metaphors, followed by a big smile on her face. But they keep trying, so it must pay off, sad......

I hate those people.... They call the computer shop where I work (worked?) and I always say, "I have one question for you first.... Are your mother and father proud of what you do for a living?".
