A guy in one of our neighboring clubs posted that he wanted to clean house since he hadn't flown in over a year so I went down and rescued a load. The Corsair and F-18 had never been flown but had some hangar rash and weren't setup very well.

FMS 1700mm Mustang had some nose damage but now repaired and everything setup and working properly.

FMS 1700mm Corsair had never been setup completely and had some hangar rash, also the antenna and pilot tube were missing (will order from MRC). I cleaned it up, touched up the paint and everything setup and working properly.

Freewing 90mm F-18 had never been flown I don't think they had ever setup the thrust vectoring and they had removed the main retracts for some reason...of course it also has a little hangar rash as well.

Freewing Texan 1450mm was flown one with the COG not properly set and was landed rough enough to bend the mains and break the prop, I straightened the mains and replaced the prop.

All four are now ready to fly, the F-18 is my first jet...looks fun. All of these planes were originally purchased from MRC.

Nice score! That looks like the older V1 F-18 with the 6B fan and glued on wings. You might have trouble on your grass, but give it a shot.

The F-18 uses a single 6s 5000mAh and has flaps so is it a V2?

V2 has a 12b impeller with metal shroud and a 130A ESC in a blue hard case. Easiest way to tell.

I like your shop! That looks fantastic as well. Your airplane collection just got larger, way to go. Sometimes you get those pilots that just want to get rid of the old and, maybe do something else for a change. I had the V1 F/A 18 it was great to fly off grass. The only thing I had a problem with is the gear doors, they can snag on the grass. The jet fly's fantastic, the Texan can be a bit tail heavy. Other than that, you got a great set of rescued airplanes. They look just fine in the pictures. Enjoy!

The guy's in a rough spot right now and is selling everything he's got...sad situation.

The Corsair and F-18 have never been flown and the Texan was flown once with no weight added (waddled and stalled, broke prop and belt gear), he has purchased new prop and gear but never fooled with fixing it. Once I got everything fixed I had to add 14oz to get the CG right.
