So has anyone tried it from grass yet?
I have the Fms 70mm yak and it loves to fly off grass,hoping this will too.

No problem off of grass, flown fully loaded and it gets up without a problem

Everywhere is 365 flight ops...I flew yesterday in 30mph wind, 28 degrees and snowing...other than the cold it was a blast!

I've flown in winds >40 knots when slope soaring.

I've also flown Control Line during a snowstorm so heavy that I couldn't see the model for 1/2 the circle, and RC in freezing rain and had to land at full throttle due to the ice on the wings.

If you are willing to stand in it, there's a model that can fly in it.

We are going through the usual california dry spell before the skies open up Jan-Mar... I am soaking it all up while I can because the rain is coming. It's been freezing cold early AM but 70s during the day. no change in sight until later on in the month.

Wind doesn't stop me but rain for sure will!!
