Whatever it is, I will take one.... But I guess if I could really pick, a Super Scale Harrier with VTOL would be the most intriguing to me as a life-long modeler. But even more so, a super scale B-29 would just be wonderful!!! But not EDF, so...….

All in on a 110mm edf plane and if an F9F Panther oh wow, but somehow I do not think MRC or Alpha have that in their sights now. Well, one can always dream of things to come...:Sleeping2:

          • IL-28 for the win!(Maybe also the TU-14 considering the IL-28 was basically just an attack version of it).

            • So Alpha, sounds like Foil may be on the near horizon? Been crunching though the clues from the beginning trying make the connections. Once released, I'm sure it will be a forehead slapper, but for now nada....
EDF faster than Hoot is a good start. Patiently waiting

              • Well, I've reached the point in time in the year where fixed wing has become something to go under the tree and build for next year. I'm concentrating on just flying what I got before the county closes the access to the field. And add to this the uncertainty of what the FAA is going to do between now and spring makes me a little gun-shy on "pulling the trigger". But still hopping for a 64 or 70 mm P-80/T-33 F-100, or XB-70.

                  I dunno, man... I could really go for a MiG-29! :)

                  • Mehh there are/were already several in the market like Sebart or Lianxang (?)..that looked nice...of course not comparable with what FW would release but still they are relatively well known and more of the same bunch. If it has to be russian preferably something more unique and less seen :).

                      • Hey FlyGuy I would also like to see a big Mig 29 but Alpha put the kabosh on that. (remark #3)

Alpha clues: and my guesses on answers

                        1) Foil is not an acronym.
                        - True so must be a Noun then

                        2) It's not small.
                        - True, Large scale edf. Something in the A10 size.

                        3) Guess again, it's not Russian.
                        - True, Maybe from another Soviet block?

                        4) Have I said it's never been modeled before? I don't recall ever saying that.
                        - True - can find no such statements.

                        5) The reference about "King of Kings" above sounds nice, but doesn't quite fit depending on who you ask.
                        - True, but subjective and implying that the plane was to be the king of all planes when built.

                        6) Everyone won't like it, but some of you will go absolutely nuts.
                        - False, The wording is off

                        7) Reindeer in flight jackets definitely comprise the flight crew.
                        - True statement as no photos or documents appear with reindeer in flight jackets.

Bonus Hint: One of those hints above is not true.

                          • Oh man, the Freewing insider says it is either the F-102 or the F-106.

                            • F-106 is a cool aircraft, however, based on Motion's admiration for history, the F-106 never saw combat. Yes it escorted Russian bombers playing cat and mouse, but no shots fired. BTW, I am very impressed with the historical and scale modeling that Motion has adopted. A+ boys!

Neither did the Lippisch, or at the time of release, the F-22 or 35. That certainly doesn't discount their history! Fastest single engine jet on record, clean lines and internal weapons bay, and a remarkably long service life (42 years from first flight to retirement). Really hoping to see Motion do a 106 at some point!

Out of the aircraft you listed I can only realistically foresee a P-80/T-33 being done in a 70mm or smaller. The F-100 has been one of the top requested jets but in a larger size. Even though I would not be interested in a F-100 I know enough to know that anything smaller than a 80mm F-100 and it will cause the natives to go on a war path. LOL As for the XB-70 it is too much of a unicorn to be realistically done. But its a beautiful bird.

I want a 70mm or 80mm P80. That way i can get the jets i personally have some history with, and one that is the first operational of the usaaf. I would also love to add a 70 or 80mm F9F panther/couger. Those two would be on my ultimate wish list.

Well how about some pictures of the Nicesky Unicorn..urr XB-70 which while out of production, I have an airframe awaiting engine, replacement LG (the original retracts suck) and time.
