Since the A4 is out of stock and it seems to be the only 80mm without, at least, the option for an inrunner; I'd bet it will have the inrunner when it comes back in stock.

davecee Thanks for sharing your maiden experience with us. I agree, this sharp arrowhead keeps one's eyes peeled at all time. We need a larger one someday.
I'd give up some straight line speed for a larger airframe and perhaps a bit bolder Tiger scheme

I maidened my Tiger Meet Mirage Sunday the 10th, for two flights on a gray day. I'm using Admiral 5000s and I had to add 3 ounces of weight to balance, the plane weighs about 80 ounces. I had to get creative and notched out a portion the bottom of the tailcone, thinned the foam out and then put a thin sheet of lead curved to match the tailcone internally, as well as two more flattened pieces of lead on each side of the rear skid. I'm using an AS3X receiver as I find it to be really helpful on this type of plane, (old reflexes). Direct crosswind with gusts to 16 mph, didn't bother the plane at all. Easy takeoff from our grass field, quite fast at full tilt, but I do mostly partial throttle flight with a few full throttle passes and a few full throttle climbouts. Even with the Tiger Meet scheme I had a bit of trouble with orientation in flight and it would almost disappear when head on for landing approach. I added some color to the leading edge to help my 73 year old eyes. It's helpful. I've used the same technique on my Mig-21 and my P-15. I've flown it again this past Friday and Saturday, 7 more flights in clear blue skies. I'll probably not bring this plane to the field on overcast days.. The yellow on the leading edge is helpful. My first several landings were pretty heavy. The gear soaked them up with no problem. Last few landings were much better, and I've been able to do some slow, kinda high alpha flight. Set my throttle timer for 5 minutes and only set up to land when the 5 minutes is up. Total motor run time including taxi in runs about 6 minutes. Plenty of battery left for a go around or two if necessary.

For ailerons on all my deltas I use very little throw and a good deal of expo. However for elevator I give them full travel and then dial in a good bit of expo, to my liking, for that high alpha flight. It's a trial and error thing on the Mirage 2000. I have the original V-2 and the tiger eyes version. Both identical airframes, but my expo for elevator is different. I attribute this to the increased power of the tiger eyes version.

Finally got around to my maiden flight on the Mirage .After all the problems with the build and a neve raking first flight with the movement to much I trim every thing down and the second flight was great made every thing worth while .Really please with this Mirage ,boy is it fast but slow it down and it becomes a slow predictable model to fly .Have not got around to the high alpha yet but that will come

I tried to get it to fit and the spar came through the outside of the wing .Took it all apart again and found that the wing spar was in fact about 3/4 inch to long so I had to cut 3/4 inch of the wing spar then it fitted just .Now I am struggling to get the 6s 4000 battery far enough back to get the C of G right .I notice the fuselarge goes very narrow aft of the battery compartment so you are limited to how far you can place the battery back .I think this was ordinally designed to take a 4s battery and then they upgraded it to take 6s but have not allowed room for the 6s Still yet to fly it so hopefully it will redeem its self when I get to fly it but at the moment I am a bit disappointed with it
Mine takes a 6s 4500mah 45c from roaringtop with no issues

After having a rant about the build but with a few mod it is now ready to maiden it .With regards the spar I assembly the plane minus the spar and it fitted all OK then I put the spar over the wing span and it was about 3/4 inch to long .I suspect someone put the wrong spar in my kit .**** happens ,we are all human .Yes I did the final assembly of the wing with spar installed .Looking forward to my first flight once this wind in the UK drops ,It is just storm after storm here in the UK but I suppose it is February

I’ve built four without issue. I guess someone could have picked a incorrect wing tube but would more suspect maybe something in one of the wing tubes maybe? I fly mine in a 5200 but batteries come in different sizes shapes and weights... I hope it’s flying is to your liking...

Awesome! Thanks for the idea on that center tank. i will attach the wind pylons with a little clear gorilla glue along the sides where it goes into the wing and give them a shot. the clear stuff is not as strong and hopefully can just be pulled out without damaging the foam. At worst i can always just make clean cut to get them out if it make the plane feel worse.
