Heres a few of mine. I normally use foam when i scratch build...depron..white.blue..or pink foam. Lots of ways to skin this cat. But i find that building from foam and fiberglass is the easiest waybto go about it. I will say this..theres nothing more satisfying in the hobby than flying something you created yourself :)

I have seen Corsair Nut's T-36 fly, and I can say it is easily the most impressive scratch built foam (core) aircraft I have ever seen. And as one can imagine, I see a lot of aircraft in my profession.

The engineering to detach the forward fuselage is impressive and seamless, and the outer finish is very realistic. In the air, Corsair Nut's creation is exceptionally realistic. It is no surprise either that he flies as sharply as he builds.

I haven't seen the Skyray or Vigilante fly but I'm sure they are every bit as well executed as the Talon.

Haha(blushing in txt) thanks alfa! The f4d and a5 both fly incredibly well. The a5 performs extremely well for a umx with only 1 fan..and smooth as silk! Havnt been doing much scratch building...but i did start a 12ft long kfir project...lolol. my friend justin is building one too but hes much farther along than me. Hes got a thread on rcg. The ol t38 is getting a lil long in the tooth. Its like...almost 8 years old now..and has over 70 flights. Including a few pretty crazy emergency landings..lololol

Thanks everyone for the kind words on my Sukhoi and other projects. I build from 3 views and a good plastic kit. I hand draw each part by scaling up the 3 view to the planform and then use Compufoil for the airfoils you match. I wish I could design in Cad but haven’t had the time to learn. I have never designed a complete plane from scratch. The Su I bought the molds and plugs and the Tu stuff was given to me by my buddy George. He is a master class scratch builder and great mentor. My goal is to to completely scratch build a FW-190 D9 from the Bentley drawings. George says I better get started because I’m not getting any younger. Always good stuff here. You guys are great.
