Mine doesn’t do that though it does come around that percentage throttle setting. Might I suggest disconnecting the afterburner and see if the throttle still cuts out at 40%. If it does then eliminate the control board and fly without an afterburner. If it is the control board I’d say direct connect everything to your RX, that board could be bad. Hate to hear you lost your bird.Originally posted by Hotboat86 View PostFreewing afterburner on viper 90mm instead of lighting the leds it cuts throttle completely off at 40% throttle up all hooked up correctly as far as I can see any similar stories or suggestions

Which receiver and ESC? If a SMART receiver and an Avian ESC, you will have problems.Originally posted by Hotboat86 View PostFreewing afterburner on viper 90mm instead of lighting the leds it cuts throttle completely off at 40% throttle up all hooked up correctly as far as I can see any similar stories or suggestions

I had to look up the "fctory electronics" since you didn't answer the question. It's an AR637TA receiver.Originally posted by Hotboat86 View PostIt's all factory electronics and I opened it up and it is a Avian esc ,afterburner effect is not worth having an electronics glitch thanks for the feedback
Try plugging the Avian into the leftmost slot on the receiver, labeled "Bind/prog/srlx2". It should work fine there and the afterburner should remain in slot 1 and work OK too.
You will still run into issues with the afterburner turning on too soon - see my other thread on the subject.
Incidentally, it's only the Avian ESC that does this. It doesn't play nicely with anything else plugged into slot 1.

You're welcome.Originally posted by Hotboat86 View PostYeah I appreciate the help I'm new to this form and rc planes as well, I will give those suggestions a try and see what happens thanks again
As a rule, if you are asking for assistance with a technical issue, the more information you provide the easier it is for someone to help you.

Kallend, any idea what's going on here? I updated and factory reset some AR637TAs and then when i unplug them from the power and try to power them back up, I'm getting nothing out of them - they won't power up, bind, or even go into bind mode...
Not sure what i'm doing wrong... I'm using a 3s for power into the bind port / channel (and i've tried other ports / channels as well), and I set up an 'RX Programming" model in my IX20 to update, unlock and reset these extra receivers...
I'm stumped. Any thoughts?
