  • Eurofighter Typhoon 90MM 6S PNP Power Issues...

I don't have a ton of experience with EDFs but I own a Freewing Mirage and that thing is awesome so I decided to get the Eurofighter.. Maiden flight it felt very underpowered and shrugged it off as I used an old battery. Put brand new 120C battery in it and recalibrated the esc and still the same thing.. It has zero vertical climb ability.. it falls out almost immediately. Full throttle is around 67mph. I don't really know what the issue could be. The motor doesn't feel hot or anything. Anyone have any suggestions?

    Put a wattmeter on it.

I would verify that you have the 6s motor. 3668-1960kv your performance is so low ( 63mph) sounds like maybe you have the 8s 1350kv motor?

What watts should it be reading at full throttle?

Thank you, I don't own a watt meter but ordered one. I'll let you know the results!
