  • Freewing F-16 Falcon V3 6S High Performance 70mm EDF Jet - FJ21115P

I have the Freewing F-16 Falcon V3 6S High Performance 70mm EDF Jet - FJ21115P and have enjoyed the model. The first flight was not great, as there was an issue between iX-14 and AR637T with satilite rx. That aside, after several flights, the nose gear servo started to act up. After investigating the issue, I found the wire to the servo pinched against the plywood that holds the steering servo.
Three photos show the issue. One shows the servo with wire against the board. The next shows the wire, out of the servo, that is pinched. The last is showing the cutout in the ply, where the steering servo mounts.
Make sure you check that wire in your model.

    2 questions about the Freewing F-16 70mm V3

What ist the ESC/Ubec Peak current
    5A or 7A?

What is the retracts Pin size
    3.1 or 4.1mm?

    Best regards

Since the original post, I did crash and replace my F-16. The replace had the same nose landing gear issue and I had to replace the nose landing gear retract servo.

I’ve crashed mine a couple of times and had to replace the fuselage once. Took me a bit to get used to the speed and handling but it’s really fun to fly.

Does anyone know how to remove the stock tires on the ready landing gear? I wanted to replace them with DuBro rubber tires

Vinny45, Once you pull the clip from the pin holding the tire and wheel on, you can then replace both. I don't think the stock wheels come apart. I know the nose wheel does not, as I recently tried to replace just the tire. If you have access to a 3D printer, I am sure you can find scale looking wheels you can fit new tires on.

Yes, I too enjoy flying this model.

              Martin,

              2 questions about the Freewing F-16 70mm V3

What ist the ESC/Ubec Peak current 5A or 7A? I will attempt to find out this answer.

What is the retracts Pin size 3.1 or 4.1mm? I did not measure the wheel pins, but I will and answer here too.

              Thank you

Says 7A on the label looking at the picture in spare parts.
