It always helps to have the right amount of room required to fly! Good flights! I was lucky enough to see the real deal fly in Nellis back in November. It is such a pretty plane!Originally posted by Aros.MotionRC View PostCheck me out on youtube at https://www.youtube.com/user/gooniac33

Thanks, oh man it makes all the difference in the world! I think about all the years I forced my giant scale stuff on that little school parking lot, not realizing I had an 1,800 foot paved runway just 11 miles from my house!
Would love to see the 1:1 in action! My YouTube RC videos:

I wound up at 165mm CG but most seem to be flying her at 170mm. I found the factory throws WAY too high for me personally. Here's my radio settings:
DUAL RATES
Aileron Low: 55% - Expo 50%
Aileron Mid: 70% - Expo 50%
Aileron High: 100% - Expo 50%
Elevator Low: 65% - Expo 40%
Elevator Mid: 75% - Expo 40%
Elevator High: 100% - Expo 40%
Rudder Low: 55% - Expo 30%
Rudder Low: 75% - Expo 40%
Rudder Low: 100% - Expo 50%
Throttle Cut Activated
Timer set for 3:00. I always landed around the 3 minute mark. I think the most I ever stretched it was 3:30. Don't ever stretch it past that or risk LVC which would be very, very BAD. ;)My YouTube RC videos:

Hi everyone, I have a question about the CG on this beautiful jet. I made my maiden flight today and I'm lucky I didn't bring it home in a trash bag. It was almost impossible to control at anything below 3/4 throttle. It was very pitch sensitive. I had CG set at 175mm which I measured with gear down and the aircraft right side up, is this the right way to set it up? Thanks

175mm is on the aft edge of the CG. I maidened mine around there as well and like you, I just about lost her. I moved her forward to 165mm and she was MUCH better. Most split the difference and fly her at 170mm. I measured mine the same way. Glad she's still in one piece! Definitely move the CG forward to 165-170mm...You will see a big difference. My YouTube RC videos:

Hey, thanks for the info. I hope to do better on the 2nd flight, I sure would hate to destroy such a beautiful jet

No kidding! My knees were knocking every single flight. Once she's all dialed in with CG/throws she's a ***** cat. Good luck! Keep us posted on the second flight. My YouTube RC videos:

I went ahead and bought a replacement front nose gear unit so I could fly this sucker....
Stuck it in the other day so I can take it to jet jam.... But I didn't want to take it in the blaaaaaa grey. Well I already have a tan aggressor (tams) and a blue aggressor (90mm FW), and the Israeli camo I love (FW 70mm)....so I decided to do the arctic.
Painted it, weathered it a bit and decals in about four hours.....
Didn't come out to bad1 Photo
