Heck I also do Plugins for RC airplanes on Simulator and Military news sites. And when I do I always reference models that are sold by MotionRC.
If your a diehard aviation fan you just can't be limited to one aspect of aviation. Its is the same with my love for cars. I started with simple video games then to my first car, then to racing simulators

I have been on Iracing sim for about 5 years now , are you at Iracing also ?

And, it's a pain in the rear end to haul around just for a few passes around the field. Now. a B-29 may be a game changer....but I don't know. Dropping $400-500 on something that you can't fly all that much and do much with seems extravagant to me.

Guys want to fly scale, in formation or do aerobatics. 1500-1600mm warbirds do that best for the price and complexity.

      Just hoping. Y'all with me?

      thanks
I love the bombers, but I do agree it's a different type of flying than fighters. A B-29 would be a must have for me, in any size above 2000mm. Some see it as boring, but the flying is more about the type of plane you are flying than you then the maneuvers. I have the 1875mm B-17, and the joy of flying that comes from trying to make it look as Scale as possible in the air. Slow, smooth control movements, slow passes, and long takeoff/landing rollouts really sell it as a big, heavy bomber. And, even if you want to, the B-17 and the new B-24 are aerobatics capable. It just doesn't look quite right to see a B-24 do a hammerhead and a loop though..

It has been a while since I have been on racing sims. The last one I was into was Gran Turismo for PS3. I even had the steering wheel that I can still use on my PC. But I have been looking to get into a new one since I have had a good Gaming PC.
Thanks for the info, I am going to be be looking into Iracing.

I use to run on G.T also but hated the Jerks that would ruin your game by crashing you sitting on track or going backwards , Iracing you will get suspended for that but beware if you do get on Iracing you might end up with something like this ...

My giant scale Tigermoth was quite a learning curve as I’d always built monoplanes before. A fair amount of fabricating special parts to suit my picky nature. It is indeed mostly laser cut plywood then balsa. Having no good set up instructions on fine tuning was also an issue as I did not install any gyro to assist flight control. The first flight was not good at all. The model climbed constantly with any amount of throttle. I had a pretty tough time getting it back down undamaged. I had to reset the top wing to -2.5* incidence, reset the motor to -7* down and 3* right. All wing rigging wires had to be replaced with heavier cable also. It now flies like a dream! Biplanes are quite a learning experience indeed to build.!
