Does anyone know if this battery will fit and connect properly to the UMX Waco? I've heard that this is a better battery than the E-flite version .

    Here's the E-flite version for reference. https://www.motionrc.com/products/e-...nt=19075543750

Probably won't fit without cutting foam.

The space for the battery in the ultra micros is designed around the battery.

It wouldn't be a significant upgrade.
You'd need a wattmeter to see the difference in power due to lower internal resistance (probably after the decimal point) and flight time would at best be 7% more.
This assumes the C ratings are meaningfully relatable to internal resistance....
FF gliders and rubber power since 1966, CL 1970-1990, RC since 1975.

I've used the kinexsis 280 and 300 mah batteries in both the UMX waco and pitts. Connect and fit with no problems.

I can also now confirm that the Kinexsis 300 fits with no problem, after purchasing both the UMX Waco and Kinexsis battery. Thanks for everyone's help!

I use a pulse brand 300mAh battery in most of my umx planes. Fits fine and nice long flight times
