Dang Bill and Ryan, that's a plane just begging for a paint job!  A little weathering and some satin Minwax and that baby will look like she just flew 50 Jabo missions over Bastogne!!

Guys, Wanted to give a bit of useful info with the P-47. As long as you don't mind a color change - if you have a disastrous crash of the plane and it totals the fuse and wings (friend got one and had an accident that he repaired, unfortunately he didn't know the carbon fiber strut in the wing had been damaged and 5 flights later the wing detached in the air resulting in total body failure) look into the parkzone body kit for the P-47. Fuse and wing for the eflite is about 160-170 bucks just now ( add in cowl etc and its almost the cost of the new plane). Complete body for the parkzone version (still available at horizon and others) is about 90. He has indicated it has only required very slight tweaks (I believe he had to tweak around the retract area).
