Sounds good Tom, the only thing that concerns me is the plastic casings for the retracts, are they the same as what we have on the other 1400mm warbirds and if so, will the CNC
Smallparts replacements for pivoting retracts fit on them?  I know they just finished developing them, any idea?

This is a brand new retract made at a new factory. I've only see the prototype. Not sure if the final version will be any different yet so unfortunately I'm not 100% sure.

Hey Tom, is Ryan getting his hands on one of these for a video?  I've watched Rich's and they're pretty good, but let the boys have a wack at it too!
One thing that I'm trying to see is whether or not the cockpit has any detail?
All I can see from the glimpses in the video is a shoulder high Pilot and a pretty non existent cockpit.

Rich makes a lot of his videos with pre-production versions of these planes. We always wait until we have a full production version so you see exactly what you would get. FMS tends to make changes until the last minute so we've learned to wait on any FMS video until we actually receive the containers with a new plane inside. At that point we'll build one and shoot some video.

Wow, while there is nothing lacking in the 980mm P40B, I have to say watching Rich Baker flying the 1400mm P40B down on the deck, and with the turn and burn stuff just makes the wallet twitch.
While she appears to be slower than the 980mm in both speed and roll rate she appears to be a bit better than the 980mm on landing. I love the split flaps. That is one of the few knocks against the 980 P40B in that the flaps are not split!

I love watching the high G turns with the tips holding on tight. No signs of an impending tip stall. Just love the way Rich shows off these models. After watching him fly these products, I know I can't say that my flying will be "equipment limited"!

Something gotta give and soon, I fear it will be my wallet.

As a matter of interest, I've noticed that the 'other' company is including all the extras that Motion is, but they're also including a battery.
Is that included with your deal?

The battery is random. FMS has included it in 10% of the boxes. We felt is was not enough to advertise it. The package is 100% the same.
