I just received my revolution the other day. I finally looked at it last night. It appears ok but the instructions were NOT there. I looked it up online but motion rc didn't have them. I called motion and spoke with them. They said they were sorry and would send a instruction manual the next day. We shall see. I really just need the CG and control throws. If you can help, please do.

Hey Paul, we just have to update them from their V1's. You can view the manual for the V1 which should be more than sufficient for the CG and control throws. https://www.motionrc.com/products/te...np#support-tab

Just received my skynetics revolution. Well packaged. No instruction manual or pointer to online instructions. Thanks to this forum I did locate online instructions. They weren't very good. Wings not tight to fusalage, lots of wiggle. Very small battery/esc bay had to be enlarged to accomodate receiver. Four ozs of lead needed to achieve recommended cg! Next I'll see how it flies.

Maiden flight needed lots of trim. Good landing but left landig gear carbon fiber leg broke. So much for Skynetics. You get what you pay for. Motion RC can do better.

I needed 5 ounces of weight in the nose. Not good... I was not impressed with the first flight.

I just got the Revolution. The manual says to use an 1800 to 2200mah battery and the plane doesn't balance. So I added 5oz of weight to get it to balance. It's not good at all to add weight especially 5oz of weight. Why don't they recommend and heavier battery to get the proper CG. For my first 3D prop plane this is designed wrong. The way its supposed to be is that if I used 1800 or 2200 it should CG. Not add 5oz. The plane looks nice but that is about it.

I agree completely. I have no desire to fly it again the way it is. I will either strip the electronics out of it to use in another plane, or try a bigger (heavier) motor in it, and probably a bigger battery as well.

I am glad to hear that that I'm not the only one who determined that it need a ridiculous amount of nose weight.

Horrible plane. No manual of any sort buy was able to download from motion website so that wasn't an issue. The first issue was using a 3s 1800mah it took 5.4 ounces to balance, with a 3s 2200mah still needed over 5 ounces for correct cg. Installed receiver and found that the rudder servo would not return to center, it would stay at the furthest extend of travel. Tried a different futaba receiver and same results so no big deal I just installed a new servo. Setup the controls and completed preflight checks and on takeoff the elevator servo started to glitch. Shut it down and replaced the elevator servo then tried again. Got it in the air and it flies very poorly, very twitchy regardless of control throw and exponential adjustments. I know this is a cheap arf but it's just not fun to fly. The size of this plane is comparable to a multiplex PM Pro but the Revolution just flies very poorly. I tried adding/removing nose weight to move the CG slightly but it didn't help the flight characteristics at all. On the 5th or so flight the right aileron's hinges pulled out of the wing making for a tricky landing with one aileron trailing behind attached to the plane only by the control rod. Inspection shows two of the 4 CA type hinges never had any glue applied to them. Two servos failing before it even got off the ground tells me the electronics are junk and untrustworthy so there is really nothing to salvage. My $150 investment goes to the dumpster and I know not to buy from Motion Rc in the future. Expensive lesson for sure.

J'ai beaucoup de difficulté au 1er vol car difficile à ramener l'avion du fait d'un mauvais centrage de gravité mais jje ne l'ai pas cassé.
Après 4 ou 5 vols, j'ai trouvé qu'il fallait environ 100 grs de lest juste après le moteur et la cela va bien.
Par contre si quelqu'un à un train d'atterissage à me vendre, je suis preneur car le mien à cassé et il n'est plus dispo chez MOTION RC.
