In the instructions you will find 2x part "j", but there are 4x "j", so don't forget the other two 😏

        Part three

        Assemble the cowling

It's much easier to soak the balso parts for a few minutes only into water (only one side needs to be wet) and then glue it. The "wet" side is outside, so the glue can dry without water.
After it has dried, sand it carefully and remove the helping structure inside.
The mini magnets will hold the nose in place
(careful when glueing these magnets......they have a north and south pole)

            Part five

Assemble the upper and lower wing

(Don't fix them onto the plane now, only the middle part of the upper wing is glue the the structure)

              Part six

              Assemble elevator and rudder

                Part seven

Install the motor and power system

(the whole elctronic will be connected as in this drawing)
The motor mount screws will NOT fitc, I have grind the holes into "ovals" (to the middle), then the 3 screws will match the holes in the wooden motor plate.
Also there are 2 smalls black screws, which will holds the motor itself, they are a bit outside. To avoid some wrong angles I have simple cut a piece of balsa as a "buffer" between motor and mount. Maybe its not helpful, but it feels better 😅

                    Part nine
                    finals

The rods for the rudder and elevator I have "crossed". Otherwise they will be bend and pressend into the fuselage (poor servo)
Click image for larger version Name:	IMG_1624.JPG Views:	0 Size:	62.7 KB ID:	320851
There is no Vickers MG in this kit. And without the Sopwith looks "naked". So I printed one in 3D and put it on top the fuselage

And decals are missing. They are also printed

How to find out the GC (the instructions says 10 - 15mm from the front edge of the LOWER wing)

And last: I have sprayed the orange propeller black (looks nicer)

All needed weights are in the nose.

                    Thats all
Picture from flight will follow soon (at the moment, its heavy rain outside here in Singapore)

Thanks for posting your build log, I look forward to seeing your maiden report!

I built one of these a few years ago. It had a DSM2 5-in-1 as the MFCB. It flew alright, although the wheels gave me problems until I replaced them with wheels I cut from plasticard. Overall though, it was a fun build and rewarding to finally get into the air. I eventually cracked the firewall when it fell off my workbench.

The rudder is very small, btw. For more effectiveness, clear plastic packaging worked well.

ID:	352397 we made a one inch taller rudder on the dancing wings 1200mm camel it would not fly well enough at slow speed to get a nice three pointer landing this vid is with the small stock rudder the pic is of the old and new bigger rudder and it works alot better now
