Well I got the Nemesis about 4 days ago but it remained in the box until today. Glad there was not much involved with putting it together as I am still pretty sick. I think a total of 5 screws. Anyway here is a picture of it while it still looks nice. Maybe if the weather cooperates next weekend I will take it out.

I took my Nemesis out to the field last week. All of my buddies were ganging up on me with their prop modded Stregas. Everyone was sure the Strega would be faster due to its seemingly sleeker looking design. So not to be outdone, I also put on my "race" prop on my Nemesis and off to field I went. Stregas out of a dive were hitting 114 to 115 mph. I eveventually got my own Strega up to 119 mph. My last pass of the day, my trusty Nemesis clicked off a 120 mph pass to set the high mark for the day. So, I relished in my victory for the day, but I know my buddies will be gun 'ing for me next week. Until then.....Comment

12X12 cut down to an 11X12. The exact same prop as everyone is using on their Strega. The only thing I am doing different other than the prop for my Nemesis, is I am using a 4000 mah pack so the cg works out right. I would rather add battery than led to the nose. Great flying airplane.Comment

I must have missed some of the conversation somewhere else. The stock Strega prop is a 10x8x4 and the stock Nemesis prop is a 10x10x2. Upsizing pitch and diameter doesn't stress the motor and ESC? Or are these also upgraded?Comment

You are correct about the specs on the factory props. Everything else on both planes is factory equipment. As to whether it stresses the motor and ESC, dont know. I have a wattmeter, I was just to lazy to check it I guess. So far, no magic smoke and guys at our field have been doing it for over a year with no issues on their Stregas.Comment

I just ordered my Nemesis. I've been flying the RocHobby Air Cobra II on the 11x12 prob for almost a year. It just screams. I was looking for something new and possibly faster. I can't wait to take my cut an balanced props and put them on the Nemesis. I might maiden it with the stock prop. It should be here next week 7/6. I'm looking forward to a maiden at Apollo Field next weekend 7/9.Comment

Well, ever since I flew the demo plane, I knew it should have been mine. I waited and waited and with the new price, well, it sucked me right in to the purchase. Easiest plane to fly, tracks like it's on rails, can be made faster very easily, lands at a crawl, and can withstand some great high G turning.
Before the plane arrives, I was wondering if someone could provide me with the diameter of the spinner backplate. No rush, but I would appreciate the info.!Comment

jobinseattle I was wondering the same thing. I'm using the Admiral 2500 pro series battery and had to add 4 oz of lead to the nose to get it to balance. I may up the battery in order to get rid of the lead. Thought, comments, ideas anyone?Comment

I plan to use a 4000mah 4S. I would imagine that would easily put the CG in the appropriate range with no additional lead weight, and at least it's functional weight since you'll have added battery life due to the capacity increase. A true win-win! My plane arrives on Monday, so I'll try it out, but I'd imagine it would work out just fine with that size capacity battery. The weight difference between a 4S 2500mah LiPo and a 4000mah 4S is around 4oz, so you should be golden.Comment

I got my Nemesis last night, built it early this morning, maidenned it by 10:00 am. I was worried about the wind at the Apollo Field but the plain didn't have an issue except for the last landing. The wind speed was very near the stall speed of the plane. It just didn't want to stay on the ground and couldn't steer it at all. I just went over picked it up and walked it back to the pits.
The first flight went well with minimum trimming. As I started to test the slow speed on the plan it began to climb and stall. I bumped up the speed and landed. I added another ounce of lead to the front of the plane, five ounces total.
The second flight went much better with the elevator trim remaining at zero. the gear and flap behavior was good/as expected throughout the flight. I did few mild stunts and decided to go to high rates on all surfaces with 30% expo. I think it's dialed in pretty well now.
The third and final flight was when the wind picked up. Take of was about a foot before it almost hovered into the air. I tried a couple of high speed passes but with that much of a head wind they weren't very visually impressive.
Over all I'm impressed with the plane. I can't wait to try it on a day that's not so windy. I'm also anxious to try out the 11/12 prop from my P-39 on it. I'll check it with a Watt meter to make sure I don't cook it before I fly it. I'm expecting a noticeable increase over the stock 10/10Comment

Got mine last week...Holy COW is this bird a BLAST! Really impressed with how solid it feels in the air...I yank and bank the bejezuz out of her, and really put her through her paces and she still says thank you sir may I have another! :)
Feels and flies like a balsa plane...Great stock speed...Lovin' it!
