    Hey Y'all,

I've been working on color change options while printing.

I've done this before, but not shared the test pieces.

Top to bottom: All Silver, Silver/Matte Black, Matte Black/Silver, Matte Black/Gloss Black

Pretty cool, I think, probably go with Matte Black/Gloss Black, but Matte Black Silver looks good and maybe add some black wash to the dial surrounds.

    Best, LB

Looks like they added some "Glass" updates.

I used an iso from my book as reference for the Flightline conversion to an early model "C"..

There are 8 different dial fascias...crazy fun, but took forever.

I changed out dial #32 to a beer bottle opener in the print design.

I like to add either something whimsical or something patriotic to a model, this time whimsy.

If ya can't have fun, what's the point? And I'm a faraway stretch from the "scale police".

I can add a color change to Artillery G-Code, what do you think?

Thanks for the offer, can do that after the fact with the Gcode in my slicer.

I forgot that the photo was of the J model, the B,C were different. Ron.

The builder/pilot of Super Trump is Otto Dieffenbach. The model was launched by Larry Leonard, who finished first in Open Pattern at the 1969 AMA Nats. My brother Bob Smith finished first in Senior Pattern and our good friend Whit Stockwell won Junior Pattern, beating out Otto (something he still hasn't forgiven Whit for). Bob, Larry and Otto were all at the Q-40 pyon race in Phoenix this month.

Hmmmm, didn't think of that. I like it, but scaling is rough. She's about 1/7th here and the model is 1/8th +/-

Getting her down to the B_25 1/12.88 would be a challenge.

Maybe with the resin printer, might have it give it try.

Be great if I could find a ready made STL, this one is Sculpy Clay and a little wire.

Hah, thanks, Bob. The hard part now will be putting in the instruments. Found a photo that will suffice, though it will have to be added one instrument at a time as it is not the exact IP layout as the references in my books. Nothing's as simple as it could be, but what the heck. Best, Steve

For my 1/10 PBJ-1H I made two copies of the instument panel from the B-25H maintenace manual and glued one to the back of a sheet of clear plastic. I found the right size of stick-on circles and pasted them over the the instrument dials, then spayed the panel black. I cut out the placards from the second image and glued them in the proper places. Removing the stickers then revealed a realistic effect.

                                  Hey y'all,

Not much to show though I've been busy printing and reprinting some parts.

Absolutely crushed a completed 50 cal with a box I set on my bench...what a moron.

So that's the reprint/prime/paint I am doing now.

I did get the fuselage side 50 cals sorted, that is to say, mounted to the side wall so those would actually match the nose greenhouse and shoot straight and not to the left.

Took longer than I expected, but what doesn't?

Found a good reference for the jump seat, so I redid that, too, pics next time.

                                  More when there is more.

Craig, I am certainly the first word in "dumb@ss"

I knew what I had done before I completely let go of the box.

That ever happen to anyone else?

                                      Matters little now.

                                      Thanks for the kind words.

Yes, warmer weather is upon us this week, but that means yard work for this guy.

                                        Elbee,

We have all had those dumb a$$ moments. Cockpit is looking great. Have fun doing winter yard clean-up.
                                        Best Regards, Rex
