Flying Styro Kit Mosquito Build and Review

Hi from UK, could do with some additional help on the DH98 styro kit. Have had in the garage ten years and got some time to get back to modelling flying. Can you give some more details on how you made the almost scale retracts. I have just had them arrive and scratching my head a little at the plug in adaptor you mentioned in the article on your build.

Hi Rob,

Here are a few photos of the adaptor. It’s all built from 3mm piano wire and silver soldered together. If you are interested, I could send them for the cost of shipping. I crashed my Mosquito last year, so the parts are just laying around.

Are you referring to the spare parts the Pheonix has? If you messaged him first then you get first shot at the parts.

Yeah I am. I was just in a hurry up situation and didn't have time to post back here when I did send it.

Does any one have a mosquito that you could post a photo where the ESC goes? I am trying to build from a kt. The instructions are awful for this plane. I would really appreciate the help.

Thanks Michael scratched my head and came up with a very similar adaptor silver soldered to the stock undercarriage. Sit to here you had a heavy landing, Doh
