Hey TomC you might want to add power extension leads that go from the motor to the esc or an extension for the battery lead. I have found that these escs have really short battery leads. I can't really remember but I think the esc leads have 3.5mm bullets on them.

Good catch Dewey, I forgot about that, but yeah, you'll need them, they're cheap, order a few sets for when you want to do the same thing on another plane.
Tom, your prop will be slightly further out, but no biggie. Don't forget to check you CG afterwards.

I hear its better to extend from motor to ESC..Is this correct? never done this before.Shows the ZTW 85 amp ESC has 3.5mm bullets..I suppose the motor is 3.5mm also? how long should these extenders be?

          Thanks,:)

Yeah, that's what I did, make sure you get the right size.

I get the 200mm just so I can have some wiggle room and if I have need to move the esc further back. Easier to shorten than to add. Never ran into a problem as to where I've had to though. But if you do just snip and solder on some new bullets. Shoot I love to solder anyhow. The ones I do I know I can depend on.

I just finished putting the 650kv motor in it and fits just right. Yes, I'm glad I ordered the motor mount. The one for the 540kv wouldn't have worked without drilling out new holes for the screws for it to mount to the motor (really don't want to do that).

The spinner plate sticks out maybe 1/4" more than it did with the stock motor, but it's not that noticeable.

Just bench testing it, it definitely has more power. Can 't wait to get it in the air to see what it will do.

                Thanks everyone!

Hello AZ.......use this prop shaft adapter to get your spacing for the spinner back to normal. It comes on the 550kV motor that guys where using with 5S setups.
