OUHHHHHHHH, I'll second that vote for a 1/8 scale Hellcat.:)
My FMS 1400 has been a good bird but it will have an expiration date someday;)

If they do another Grumman it should be an F3F or F4F.

While we're at it... Can we please just have ALL the Pacific WW2 Naval aircraft in 1/8 scale? That includes both sides of the conflict 'cuz I'll need some Zeros, Oscars, and Kates to chase. ;)

If you guys are fans of all these warbirds you have to check out War Thunder. You can fly them all in battle online. You can all team up in a squadron and be each others wing men. You can download War Thunder for PC for free.
Best thing is that it wont ding you wallet flying every warbird from early WWII - Koren era Jets.

I'm with you on this...it isn't necessary to downsize the props on these electrics, so why do they do it? To save money on bigger motors and higher amperage ESCs?

That is definitely a factor, and it makes for some more difficult handing due to the torque and P-factor, and a bit less forward speed. Climb performance is improved though. Although, I really can't see any issue with it on the bigger models, especially on a platform as stable as a Hellcat.

I've seen the term "P factor" used quite a bit. What does it mean?

It is the differential thrust on the ascending blade vs. descending blade of the prop at high angles of attack: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/P-factor. It is especially noticeable at those higher AOAs on landing approaches.
