    Battery charger type?

Hi, anybody know what this charger is from and whether it charges ni-cd or ni-mh batteries?
I think it's from my old RC stunt car that did wheelies and span round on the back wheels but can't remember the name and get no hits for the ix brand charger.

That doesn’t look like it’s for N. American current. What’s the plug look like?

I think that's a standard European (or AUZ) AC/DC adapter and as long as the thing you're trying to charge or power can make do with 9.6v DC at 0.3A, it won't matter if it's NiCAD or NiMH. 300ma isn't a lot. As long as the end pin fits (and is the proper polarity for the device), it's not likely going to hurt anything. Those adapters have been used to power all sorts of things (even guitars).
