From the Jan. 22, 2023 San Diego tank clubs IR battle day. It was the first battle day for my Pacific Theater themed Sherman and where it earned its war name. After scoring five consecutive victories without being knock out, it was given the war name “Ace N a Day”. Its NOT easy to score two or more consecutive victories against experienced player like were present. Was it just LUCK, probably, but here is to keeping my fingers crossed “Ace N a Day” can keep up the great start to her career.

Red 390s in a T34 is just fun overkill 👍👍. I am sure like mine that thing flys. Good thing you have the added weight. After a while though I swapped all of mine back to 380s. Needed the slower scale speeds and slightly reduced handling for IR battles. 390s actually were a handicap more then of a value in battling with the T34.

But for backyard fun and smiles 390s rule the day in the T34.

It must be a battle scared T-34/85. It lost all the small parts and gas drums. The T-34 has the best paint job among my HL's as is. It is lighter than most HL too. I added 2 pounds of lead to make it run better on rough ground.

Upgrades for this one aren't out yet, but metal upgrades are supposedly coming after the Chinese New Year.

Rubicon99 Great looking modification. I am currently modding a FlightLine 1600 mm Corsair from VMF-114 stationed at Peleliu 1943-5. Point is, I have seen many similar tanks while doing my research. Bravo Zulu, Sir. Best. LB

A small simple project I have had in the works for a while and finally had time to “throw” together. USMC Sherman in WW2 Pacific theater inspired theme. Yes there were a fair number of Sherman’s that had “wood armor” added to them in an effort to combat the threat of magnetic mines.

The tank has been modified to now have metal servo recoil and elevation, Mato tracks and sprockets, upgraded gearboxes and a few other small things not really worth mentioning.

My daughter and I took advantage of MLK day being a holiday for school and my work, and headed out to the "Laguna" behind her old school. There's a lot of water in the ground still after the large about of rain we've had (our backyard has measured something like 20+ inches this year). Today we finally had a break in the weather, although it's windy and cold that's just fine for tanking 🤙 Now I'm hoping the tanks will dry out in the backyard.

We need a "selfie stick" really for trying to video the tanks. I did the video of the Tiger, and my daughter did the vid of the KV-1. If we had used the GoPro, it would probably be smoother as it seems to have better digital stabilization, these were done on an iPhone X.

I have bought many machine guns & ammo boxes from Battleground-excellent prints
If their prints are good quality, clean and smooth, the price is high but not unreasonable if the heart wants it. There's some prep and cleanup involved in 3DP kits.

Here's a 3DP Zis-3; Russian copy of the Pak 35, printed by my buddy. If you enlarge the photo it to more than life size you can see some texture, but it's invisible in the flesh.

Thank you for your suggestion. Consider it done! You will see it in combat at LA battle event in February. I found the small perfect spot at the front and I installed the IR emitter in there.
