They look great. I've never attempted a winter whitewash. What did you use? With Tamiya lacquer spray bombs you can't really use the hairspray method

The KV-1 I did first, last winter. I got the tank with the intention of trying a winter whitewash. I did the hairspray chipping technique, but I hand brushed diluted Tamiya XF White. It worked well. I followed tutorial videos on YouTube for this process.

The T-34 I did a few weeks ago. I am using it as a test mule for my winter Tiger project. I again used the hairspray technique but it doesn't behave the same since I used Ammo/Mig "Washable White" for camouflage. The hairspray really isn't necessary with the washable white. I used it as a guarantee that the white would come off since it was my first time using this product.

The KV-1 I intend to keep this way. The T-34 I had already decided that I wanted to refit and repaint this spring.

The Ammo/Mig washable white is a cool medium to play with and learn. It is easily manipulated when I got the hang of how it worked, reacted and looked. I experienced several days after applying it able to reactivate it with just warm tap water and a brush or sponge. It does eventually dry to a point that it is not able to be manipulated. It is very important to note that I applied a Matte clear coat to the tank after the white before any subsequent weathering.

IDF Magach 6B on new sections of battle field hill/tunnel. The 6B was used for testing the firing positions even though they were optimized for smaller tanks.

Last photo is of the tunnel. Had to enlarge it from my original plan at the request of a few local clubs to ensure those tanks built with antennas would not get damaged.

-3D printed heavy gun mantlet
-3D printed rear bustle on turret
-3D printed 60mm HVMC (Hyper Velocity Main Cannon) smoothbore barrel. Lore says: capable of firing HEAT, AP (armor piercing), APCR, and rockets (HESH rounds?)
-3D printed early-style roadwheels with twin ball bearings in each. Made to last many, many patrols.
-Mato T49 steel forged tracks with sprockets and idlers. I absolutely love how super heavy duty these tracks are. Thanks Forgebear!
-Custom "Stormy Coast" camo scheme, meant for beach assault.
-3D printed oil jugs on the back, 3D printed stowage on the sides.
-3D printed searchlight. I wired the searchlight to the original taillight connector on the TK7 board, and wired the taillights to one of the many extra LED ports the TK7 has, so I can control the searchlight separately.
-Handmade netted stowage
-Modified turret ring gear to allow 360 degree rotation
-Relocated the on/off switch to behind and underneath the rear deck, between the idler wheels and hidden so you can't see it, because when the turret is facing straight, the driver's hatch where the switch used to be is blocked by the new mantlet.

And that's the build.

Fictional Background: The M4A3EX aka "Sherman X" is a sniper tank. It uses its powerful searchlight and smoothbore hyper-velocity main gun to pinpoint targets and destroy them quickly using a wide range of ammunition. It has high mobility and can attack silently and quickly. It has poor hull armor so the ideal situation for this tank is a hull-down position with only the thick welded mantlet exposed to enemy vehicles. The Sherman X performs best in stormy or after-dark cover, and is not a vehicle to be underestimated. If you see a Sherman X, be assured it has already seen you. And you only have seconds to escape.

The next build is the Sherman X's platoon mate - unlikely choice, but it is indeed a KV-2. I'm a World of Tanks player so I've drawn inspiration from the KV-2 (R) in the game, like I've drawn inspiration for the Sherman X from the Chilean M-60 Shermans.

Hello everyone! This is my first official post on the forum but I have been using it a lot, along with other forums, since me and my brothers got into 1/16 RC tanks a year ago. We have a total of ten tanks spread throughout us but I'd like to introduce to you specifically two builds of mine.

Meet the M4A3EX, aka the Sherman X, a fictional build inspired by the Chilean M-60 Shermans.
