It can be easily added with a new aftermarket turret ring gear that takes about 15 min to install. It is super easy to do and cost anywhere from $10-$25 depending on if the ring is basic plastic or metal with bearings.
Please tell me more about this 360 turret ring mod...don't the wires to the turret eventually get twisted or is it easy to keep up with?

Rubicon99 Please start a Tutorial thread about how to mod the stock turret ring for 360 rotation. I'll link that thread here in the FAQ thread.

RCjetdude it's as simple as grinding off the ring stop from the stock plastic ring and filling it to match the shape of the other teeth. Takes five minutes. Then, a device called a "slip ring" is installed. A slip ring allows 360 rotation of up to 6 wire pairs without tangling. Such a device can be seen in my Abrams Pro Plus thread.

We're also going to be stocking full metal 360 degree turret rings with five bearings to smooth out rotation. It's a simple screw in mod.

We'll also be stocking pre-wired wire harnesses with a slip ring between them.

There are also plastic 360 turret rings where no cutting in teeth is needed. You can of course mod the one you have by cutting the teeth if you have the skill set and want to save time and money. I have done this a few time though now I just buy pre made rings. It’s not hard just not something I recommend to those who have little modeling experience.

I will work on a short photo tutorial for replacing the ring and post it up soon.
