  • IR Tank Mine for HengLong/Tamiya

Hey all, with this lockdown still going on I ended up making some IR land mines, now available for purchase. It uses a wide angle short range (2-3 meters) high power IR emitter LED coupled with a wide angle PIR sensor to detect tanks moving in the vicinity, and will fire Henglong/Tamiya compatible cannon blasts when triggered. It has a built in receiver so it can be disabled after a set number of shots. It is fully configurable - both the frequency of detonation (reload time) as well as number of hits to diffuse (hit points) can be customized using jumper pins. The detonation capability can also be completely turned off, allowing it to act as a stationary target. It also comes with standard relay/accessory output control signals, allowing other on field elements to be wired and activated by it's destruction. Of course, it's also equipped with indicator LED's denoting when tanks are detected, when it's detonating, and when it receives a hit. Powered by a single rechargeable lithium ion 18650 battery. It's compact enough to easily conceal inside buildings or foliage, and painted to suite the terrain. For more info please visit: https://www.etsy.com/shop/LegoDEI?re...on_id=26418852

Need to figure out a buggy or car that will run randomly around with it. Seems I read somewhere that a smaller (-1/16) scale tank had some auto target tanks that run around so you could shoot at them...
