  • Track Slack?

I haven't run my new HL Sherman too much but the tracks look like they're getting a lot more slack in them. They don't derail yet but it looks like only a matter of time.

How much slack is too much? For a tank without a tensioner when and how do I need to remove a track link? These are HL stock metal tracks.

Here's a picture of how my tank currently sits.

That about right for a Sherman. It still looks more then tight enough. Most WWII tanks had rather loose tracks in comparison to modern tanks.

If that was an Abrams, Challenger2, T72/90 and such it would be far too loose.
