Compatible Smoke Liquid
Has anyone tried to use second party smoke liquid? I ask because I also run model trains, and there is a product called Mega-Steam for smoking locomotives. What's cool about it is that is "scented"! I have both "cedar" and more relevantly, "diesel" smell. I use the latter in my UP prime mover. It can stink up the house with the smell of victory! I don't imagine many owners have exhausted (see what I did there?) their original supply, but I am sorely tempted to try this other stuff.

The more screws it takes to reassemble a tank, the more likely it is you left something out! -
I've used the Mega-steam fluid in my tanks and it works the same as the fluid they came with. The only scent I have is the "diesel" one and it seems to me to smell about the same as the original one provided with the tanks.
