The "stickers" that came with my tank stink. So, I have been looking for some waterslide decals. I only have found some in England and shipping cost would be high. Is there a place in the states which sells some nice waterslide decals? TIA.

I make pretty much all my own waterslide decals. If you have a graphic program PhotoShop, CoralDraw, MS Paint, etc. and a computer printer it is very easy to make your own very nice decals. The biggest limitation for the casual hobbyist is that to print "white" is cost prohibitive. There are work arounds with white decal paper or even a little touchup paint. Inkjet printers print better images but lazerjet print more opaque for solid colors. Make sure you buy the correct decal paper for the printer you have.

I prefer the Dry Transfer markings. They look more like they are actually painted on, if you apply them properly. They do not have a carrier film like decals.

I like dry transfers too. I use them for most of my numbers and basic symbology. Just wish there were more that could be used with tanks. It’s almost all train related.Originally posted by Cascabel View PostI prefer the Dry Transfer markings. They look more like they are actually painted on, if you apply them properly.
