New Challenger making sound when sound is off.

I just opening my Challenger 2 tank, did the first startup and I noticed it makes like a fan/clicking sound even when the sound is totally shut off. This is constantly in the background even after you select a sound and at any volume level. Sounds like gears clicking and a fan running. Rather irritating. I watched the videos of unboxing and startup checks and the tank makes NO sounds unless you turn up the volume. I'm looking for any suggestions before I have to send this back. It's basically like the sound controller is constantly emitting a sound of some kind even when shut down.

Turn the smoker off. May be the smoker unit.
