  • Charge Lead

I found this charge lead on Ebay. Wonder if this lead will work with the tank batteries. The description states it is version 4.0. Not sure if the Tamiya plugs with the tank are 4.0.

Not an answer for you, but if you are at all comfortable with soldering, I'd recommend replacing Tamiya connectors with other types. The Deans, also called T connectors are smaller and fit into the battery boxes easier. I use the XT-30 connectors that Motion RC sells. They also offer their Li-Ion packs with those connectors. They'll handle 30 amps of current with no problem, far more than our tanks use, and they are smaller than even the Deans.
The more screws it takes to reassemble a tank, the more likely it is you left something out!

SoCalBobS I was asking for a friend. I am trying to convince him to change the connectors. I already swapped mine out with EC3; which is what I use for my aircraft.
