  • Screw broke off in idler adjuster.

So I was almost done with putting my King Tiger together, when this happened. The screw to mount the idler wheel to the idler adjuster simply snapped. Screw minus head is now stuck in the mounting hole.

Is there a way to fix this?

I'll reach out to Motionrc.eu to see if they have a replacement idler ajusters and screws...

MotionRC eu is sending me a replacement part from a tank that got returned to them. These guys really have one of the best customer services I have ever dealt with, incredible!

In the meantime I did a temporary fix to the original part (I couldn't let it go!) by drilling out the broken screw. There was enough screw thread left in the hole to take a different, longer, screw. Supported by a small metal washer ring to stop the bearing from falling out.

This might be a useful fix if others ever encounter this problem.
