  • What else do you think I need

Well xmas will be coming early for me, going to put an order in to Toucan for a T34, KV1,T90 and a Chally 2.Will all be pro series with all steel gear, drive shaft bearings, red motors and drive shaft bearings. Also getting high capacity batteries, probably 7000 mha 2s li ion. What more do you think I should get? Also getting a 3d printer and scanner as well as a new air brush and compressor. Will only have this chance once so I want to be set up right.

I think most of all you'll be in need of time to work on all those tanks.

What kind of 3D printer are you getting is dependent on what kind of things you'll be printing. Have you already decided on what printer?
For aesthetic parts an SLA printer is nice because of high level of detail (prints with photosensitive resin). On the other hand an FDM printer is more suitable for items that need to be structurally strong (prints with molten plastic).

Yeah time I'll have. Looking at the ender 3 pro. From what I've seen on line it's one of the best and easiest printers for a newbie. This order is going to be a one off. So I want to make the most out of it

Seems like a good FDM printer. You can print the kind of things that people post in the 3D printing topic here on the forums.

I do not want to discourage you but do prepare for a bit of a learning curve when first starting to use it. I used to use an FDM printer (a Wanhao Duplicator 5S) and remember I had a lot of issues getting reliable prints. Often the prints wouldn't stick to the printbed or layers would not fill completely. After a while I moved the thing to storage because of lack of space. Maybe I'll take it out again when I have more space.

I went with the CR10- V2 just for the versatility of being able to printer bigger stuff without having it in a bunch of smaller pieces I need to glue together. or in some instances print a whole 1/16 scale tank chassis. Ive had it since April and have no idea how Ive lived without it.
