    Hi all,

    I think if I go on EB and make offer, I can get an item identical to Amazon offering (from Toucan) and save quite a few bucks. Dai

      I just order another T34 from Toucan because MotionRC did not have any in yet. It was listed at $300 with shipping and after a few back and forth offers I was able to get them down to $270 delivered. MotionRC would have been $260 but to wait who knows how long just to save $10 was not worth it.

        They want the King Tiger with metal wheels/tracks for 296.00 and I offer 260. Is that a fair asking? Dai

          IDK. KTs are not my thing so I don’t follow their overall market pricing. Toucan is usually easy to talk down by $20-$30.

            Hi all,

            I just ordered the metal tracks/wheels King Tiger. I have been watching YT on the history of the Tiger/King Tiger and I am suprised such a beast was produced too little too late. By 43 Germany was losing big. Heck even in 41, they were losing in Africa. Dai

              Piss poor top leadership and overly complex organization structure coupled with not listen to their seasoned Generals.

              The KT was a formidable defensive weapon, but the powers in charge did not believe in defense only attack. A role the KT was ill suited for especially with the limited numbers that could be produced.

                Hell even with 262 as a fighter Hitler wanted to be an offense weapon with bombs! Dai

                  Hello all,

                  I went ahead and order the KT with metal wheels and tracks. It is much cheaper to order in 1 package rather than doing the upgrade down the road. Dai

                    Hi Steve,

                    I am thinking of purchasing the same one on Amazon from Delta -LT. Can you tell me if the tank was in brand new condition when you received it? What do you think about the upgrade/modification?

                      The “upgrades” are nothing special and the tanks were most likely ordered with them from the HL factory as “menu” options during the ordering process.

                      A lot of seller say “they” did the upgrades, but this is misleading. They ordered the tanks with the upgrades is more accurate.

                        i looked at the ad. I didn;t see "Version 6, or 6.0". It could be a v5.3, which isn't as advanced. You might check.
                        The more screws it takes to reassemble a tank, the more likely it is you left something out!

                          Hi Sigrude,
                          The tank I bought from that ad was definitely brand new in the box and is the latest version 6.0.
                          It has all of the upgrades as advertised and runs perfectly.
                          It is my favorite of my modern tanks
                          I did some minor painting to make it a close match to some Abrams tanks in Europe I found on YouTube.
                          I think I'm going to ad a rotating beacon like one of the other posters on here did and call it good.

                              I made two offers for two HL Abrams from Build-for-u on EBay. Last night, I received an email and text messages from Build-for-u informing me that they will accept my offers on the Abrams. The person asked me which one I prefer to purchase. I replied both and asked for the best price. I was offered a price a bit lower than my two offered prices by purchasing them directly from the company. My son will be getting the Desert Tan one with the metal tracks and a kit for the 360 degree turret. I am getting the Camo Green one with the 360 degree turret, recoil barrel, metal tracks, metal road wheels and etc. Can anyone who had made purchases from them advise me if these are brand new tanks? I am also seeking advise on which upgrade battery I can purchase for longer running time. Happy Holidays

                                “build for u” is one of Toucans other names they use on EBay. All new tanks.

                                  Build-for-u is one of the names used by Toucan Hobbies on Ebay. Everything I have bought from them has been new.
                                  This is the best battery I have used in my tanks, especially big heavy ones like your Abrams;

                                      There are also 7.2 volt NIMH batteries up to 5000mah or more with Tamiya connectors available on Amazon for pretty good prices that work well also.
                                      Whatever type of batteries you decide to use you will need a better charger than the one that comes with the tank.

                                        I ordered two of the Admiral 7000 MAH batteries from Motion RC. Which charger do I need?

                                          This charger is a good one;

                                          You will also need either a t-plug to Tamiya adapter or a banana plug to Tamiya charge lead to hook up your batteries.

                                          Be sure to follow all instructions and warnings regarding charging Lithium-Ion batteries.
