Anyone know whether the HL T34-85 3909 Metal Tracks/drivewheels/sprocket/idler have barrel recoil, or just hull recoil. Thanks

Depends. Some do and some don’t. The barrel recoil is pretty lack luster (toy like) and often out of time with cannon sound and track recoil. Plus it is rather noisy as it winds up to perform its action.

It can be made to work more “smoothly” and have better timing, but you will lose the airsoft function to achieve this.
