    Hi all,

I noticed the T72 has more wirings than the other tanks ( it has an extra board ) but overall does not offer any more functions than the rest of my 11 tanks. Any thoughts? Dai

The small board is a new addition to the 360 turret tanks and makes for easier install at the factory. It does nothing else.

HL just stuffs the stock non 360 turret wires up in the turrets. Adds the 360 wires and yes there is A LOT of unnecessarily long wire bundles.

The small wires (360?) are so fragile and easily broke off. TH is sending me new hulls so I will re-assemble from stratch. Will have to do some serious house keeping chores on this one. Dai

I also ordered the bracing bracket from RC Tank Legion. A brass rod will be reinforcing the front are where the idlers are so the hull will not crack in this area. Dai

Hate to be the bearer of bad news. That will do little to stop the forward hull cracking. It is designed and used to address longitudinal hull flexing which is a totally different issues and one that the T72/90 DO NOT have issues with that need be corrected, unless you are ONLY using magnets to hold the two hull half’s together.

What you needed was their idler adjuster. It supports the forward lower hull glances at the point of cracking and works to improve idler settings slightly better the stock.

Can you link me the product of the idler adjuster? Thanks! Dai

                Hi all,

Godfrey of Toucan Hobby sent me new upper and lower hulls to address the problem of the hull cracking. I also bought the metal bracing but according to Rubicon that will not solve the issue of hull cracking. The metal bracing serves another purpose. I see the plastic piece on left side prevents the metal piece to be fully down so it has to be removed? Dai
