After opening the tank up, do not over tighten the screws when putting it back together, Start them ALL before tightening any of them. Once they are all properly started, screw them down snug, but not tight. They are only going in to plastic !!

You'll gather this from comments on these threads, but know that they, just as real ones, require maintenance and tinkering to keep operating. Don't let that put you off. Basic versions are fine, I've owned a bunch. Metal tracks are fun and lend weight, but plastic looks identical and can be painted to look very authentic.

Oh, and r/c tanks are like potato chips. Nobody can have just one!
The more screws it takes to reassemble a tank, the more likely it is you left something out!

If you can afford, buy the version with the most options installed like metal tracks, barrel recoil, 360 turret. Steel gears are pretty much standard now. Dai

                  His is already enroute.

Our advice can be readily applied to that inevitable second tank. Also, you can buy upgrades to your first one. It's a journey more than a destination.
