The San Diego tank club is holding their first 2021 IR tank battle day on Feb 7th. If you are in the CA area come check it out and even join in. I will be there and will have a few battle loaner tanks for folks to try out.

I have been asked to bump this post for tomorrow’s battle. Come join in for the morning battles and be back home in plenty of time for the Super Bowl kick off.

Well the turn out for the “battle day” was better then expected being that it was in competition with the Super Blow!!!

Not a lot of battles just more of fun driving, shooting, exchange hobby stories and admire each other’s work.

Next battle day I am told will be more of a formal themed battle day.

Here are a few photos I took today. I also posted a few short video clips on my Instagram @ fsttanks. If those that attended have photo feel free to post them here.

Thanks to everyone from Hobbysquawk that came out for the San Diego battle hosted by 619th TB.
It was kind of a different day today with alot of new folks learning how things work and lots of chatting about tanks and such. Lots of driving and free for all shootouts with some long range target practice for good measure.
Everyone is hoping Motion RC gets more tanks in going forward as everybody seems to have another tank picked out that they want to get and the upgrades they want to do to them.
Here are a few pictures I took today. I didnt take many I was so busy.

We typically hold a modern only theme battle in July.
October we hold the Arab -Israeli October war.
We will try for that this year again.
Next month will be a bring what you want battle again. Date TBD for now.

Hellcat 7, That is not my Abrams, it belongs to another member. I have seen a few guys with those ALICE rucks and stowage but I never asked where they got them. I havent worried about modern stowage on my one modern tank so I dont know. I would go to facebook and hit up the 1/16 forums with this photo and tell people what your looking for.

Hellcat 7, Go to Facebook and search for Keith Shilson. You will get his page and a listing for the M1A2 Abrams stuff, he is in the UK. I also use "Special ops" on ebay. I found the detail on the special ops ammo boxes and other equipment to be better than the UK guy.
